its been a while hasn't it? Its amusing to think of how I use to be, and even where I am. I'm done with high school, I've been holding a job for over 6 weeks now, and I'm going to college. And I'm still not over the first part. Ever since junior year I became more engineering focus. learn a lot about design and specialized in welding for my schools FIRST robotics Competition team. That and my first girlfriends just made high school seem so easy,

Anyways, I got into Warhammer 40k. that's what brings out the artiest in me now a days as well as some side projects. Maybe one day I will post pictures of my minute miniature army. Another project I've done over the summer is make my own short board deck. There were several tricks I had to use from my robotics team, but it'll be done tomorrow.

I don't know what I'm trying to say here other than I'd like to know where my old friends have gotten too.

Sorry guys, its been a while. Junior year hasn't been the easiest thing I've done but not with out rewards and fun. I will try to be on on a more regular bases and keep up with SOCT since that seems to be finally moving again. so yeah that's it for now

so....I haven't been very active lately because the last few weekends were spent on redoing a research paper which I didnt' get a good grade on. Guess what the grade was on the one that I spent three weekends on? crap, just (frustrated yell). -sigh- I mean srsly? if it wasn't for that paper I'd have a B in history, but nope, I'm left with a fricken 74% in the last 2 weeks before finals. This is so not going to end well for me.

Anywho, on to more pleasant news:
So leagues was two weeks ago. I did very well if I may say so. I got a 5:30 in the 500, that's dropping 30 seconds from the beginnnig of the season, and 5 seconds off of my previous pr. Plus it was apparently rather exciting to watch, I wouldn't know. I started off easier than usual, 4th or 5th. then I slowly picked it up, I was second by the last 100, then on the last 50 me and first place kid are almost neck to neck, then I sprint down the last 25 and barely snake him (snake aka coming from behind at the last moment). The best part: since I went easier than usual, I felt great at the end. Usually I'm literately suffocating under the surface of the water for the last 200, but I barely felt it that time. Although I won my heat, I was ninth over all, but I don't care.
Then came the 100 back, my best event. I was in the final, seated 7 out 8 (In the 500 I was in the consolation finals). The 100 back is perty different from the 500 in how if feels to race. In the 500 it's very important to pace yourself and you can keep track of your competitors easily, not in the 100 back. In the 100B it's a sprint, you go all out regardless of what the other swimmers, and it waste to much energy and effort to keep track of them. So I just went all out, and what happens? the 7th seat get 2nd by less then a second. That showed them
Man that was a great week for me, besides the very serious sun exposure and dry skin. Also I tried shaving. So weird having hairless legs...it's almost back.

now what else has happened.....

well in art we started using acrylic paint. I enjoy using something less transparent than water colors, it's rather fun. But :ionaki111: won't get off my back about my brush strokes. IT"S NOT MY FAULT THAT I LIKE TO BLEND THEM!!!! >.> You know I appreciate your help and advise though...

not much else... so yeah. I'll cya when school is done gawing my ass off....

so I lost round 3 of Big deal. I wasn't expecting to win over in the first place, and I have enough epic-win points to get back in. Although the Nonshotgun round to get back in will present it's own challenges. Sometimes I think Miyu is singling out the Mercenaries xD jk...

in other news:

aprendendo a escrever portuguess. De verdade so peciso ajuda prendendo como escrever os sons que no que não tem em Inglês ou Espanhol. Mas ainda é difícil, e na maioria das vezes eu ainda escrever errado. vai demorar....

swim season is getting close to it's end, just one more dual meet this week than leagues next week. I expect to place high in the jv division and the season has been fun. Still I'm going to miss most of the seniors.

Just a couple more weeks of school, and it doesn't get an easier xP got to keep my grade up and study for finals. I got off easy last year, I doubt this year will be the same.

cant wait for summer. School has lasted way too long

so yeah that is my life at this point

So lately I've had to deal with a bunch of application for summer stuff. so time for SOCT had to be cut down. BUT I have it written out (during Hist class) now I'm devoting my hour of prep to typing it up. It should be done this week

so in other news:
My art Teacher is planning a trip to France (little of England too). However, my parents are a little unenthusiastic about paying $2,500 for the trip. They were willing if I covered most of it by getting a summer job. I've already applied for three, 2 as lifeguard and one as leader for camps. I should be able to land at least one, right?

Spring with it's heat waves have arrived. I kid you not when I say that the tempt can change from summer to winter within a week. it's a bit annoying and confusing, but I don't really care. I wear shorts year around anyway.

Swimming meets have started. My coach decided that I'm a distance swimmer, so now I swim the 500 free instead of the 100 IM. The 500 is painful on levels that most of you have never been to, but at the same time, I like it
But damn the D-crew sets are killer. I'm so glad I'm not a permanent member of the D-crew yet.
